I’ve been tagged!

The Rules:
Once you’ve been tagged, you have to write a blog with 10 weird, random, facts, habits or goals about yourself. At the end, choose 6 people to be tagged, list their names & why you tagged them. Don’t forget to leave them a comment saying “You’re it!” & to go read your blog. You cannot tag the person that tagged you, so since you’re not allowed to tag me back; let me know when you are done so I can go read YOUR weird/random/odd facts, habits and goals.

Here they are:

1. I am the middle child of three girls. Needless to say, my father is very happy to have a grandSON!

2. I love trivia games and shows. We DVR Jeopardy every night and it’s great learning something new all the time.

3. Although it’s normal in my family, my husband thinks it is strange that I eat lemons plain. Actually, everyone outside my immediate family thinks that it is weird.

4. My guilty pleasure is salt. I love all salty foods and even look forward to finishing a box of pretzels so that I can eat the leftover salt. Strange, I know…

5. I subconsciously proofread everything that I see. As you can tell from my mom’s blog, I probably inherited that trait from her. It’s actually comical to see how clueless some people are.

6. One of my favorite “hobbies” is to search for houses. Although we aren’t looking to move anytime soon, I look on realty sites nearly every day.

7. I studied for a semester in Seville, Spain. All of my classes were Spanish and I lived with a Spanish family. It was an amazing adventure and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

8. I need to have equal proportions of food in each bite. Some people eat all of one food group and then another, but I am the exact opposite. In fact, I will add food to my plate just to have the same amounts of each food group.

9. Motherhood is so much more than I could have imagined. Austin is the sweetest little boy!

10. I wish that I could share the experiences of motherhood with my friends. I am the only person in our group of friends with a child. I LOVE being a mom, but it would be even more special if I could share it with them.

Now, I am tagging-

Claire: I checked out your blog, and I wondered what you have been up to since our trip to Spain!
Stephanie: I saw your blog, so I thought I would share mine, too!
Jacki: Do you have any new idiosyncrasies since I’ve seen you last?
Caitlin: I’m tagging you because you need to start blogging!

Austin’s birthday is today and it’s official; my little baby isn’t a baby anymore!

It’s hard to believe that an entire year has passed since delivering the most wonderful bundle of joy that I could have imagined. A year later, he is still our perfect little son and it’s hard to remember life before him. Austin, thank you for bringing so much joy to my life and being the best son that I could ask for. I love you!!
